  • Administering staff care in compliance with agency policy, law, and regulations, and according to the guidelines provided in the Physiotherapy-related Acts, procedures, and scope of care.
  • Evaluating staff conditions related to physical health and establishing physiotherapy goals; adjusting programs based on patient needs and abilities.
  • Establishing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and prepare them to return to normal life.
  • Assessing staff home and work environments and making necessary adjustments where required.
  • Advising on suitable equipment for patients’ everyday activities and guiding them on its proper use.
  • Assessing staff physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Assisting staff in participating in everyday activities based on their individual circumstances.
  • Assisting staff with exercises aimed at pain relief.
  • Reviewing staff progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff regarding treatment, follow-ups, and preventive measures.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as maintaining records, writing reports, and making telephone calls.
  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments of staff and determining treatment plans using appropriate methods.
  • Ensuring continued professional competence and staying updated with current field knowledge.

PSB Physiotherapist Recruitment 2026 - General Conditions

  1. The Physiotherapist shall make arrangements for a suitable substitute at his/her own cost, acceptable to the Bank, in case of continuous absence for more than two days.
  2. The Physiotherapist shall not be eligible for any benefits available to Part-Time or Full-Time employees of the Bank, including leave, leave fare concession, Provident Fund, Gratuity, terminal benefits, Bonus, reimbursement of medical expenses, briefcase, newspaper, etc.
  3. The engagement under this contract is purely temporary in nature.
  4. No claim shall be made for regular employment at any stage, nor for pay and perks applicable to regular employees of the Bank.
  5. The Bank reserves the right to alter duty hours and work location at its discretion to meet administrative and operational requirements.
  6. Any dispute arising out of this contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts in Delhi.
  7. The Physiotherapist shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding the affairs of the Bank and its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any confidential information to the public or Bank staff, unless required by judicial or statutory authority or instructed by a superior officer in the discharge of duties.
  8. The Physiotherapist shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully, promote the interests of the Bank, and maintain courtesy and professionalism in all dealings.
  9. The Physiotherapist shall not indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any individual at the workplace.
  10. The contract is liable to be terminated if the Physiotherapist is arrested for debt, involved in a criminal charge, or detained under any process of law.
  11. The engagement shall not be governed by:-
    1. Punjab & Sind Bank Officers’ Service Regulations, 1982
    2. Punjab & Sind Bank Officer’s Employee’s (Conduct) Regulations-1981
    3. Punjab & Sind Bank Officer’s Employee’s (Discipline & Appeal) Regulations-1981 The services shall be governed by the Court of Law applicable to the contractual employee.
    4. Physiotherapist shall adhere to all guidelines, rules and directives issued by the Bank during the tenure of the contract.
  12. Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who have not been called for the interview.
  13. Bank’s decision in respect of all matters pertaining to this engagement will be final and binding on all candidates.
  14. Any notice/ communication meant for the candidates displayed in Bank’s website or sent by Registered/ Speed Post or conveyed to the Email ID mentioned in the application, shall be deemed to be sufficient service of communication upon the candidate for all purpose.
  15. Bank reserves the right to cancel the engagement process partly/ entirely at any time, if required, without assigning any further notice or assigning any reason thereof.
