The post is for an Academic Associate in the Communication Area.
Academic Associates generally support faculty in teaching and research activities and may also be involved in academic coordination, evaluation, and related institutional work.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with faculty members for teaching support and research activities
• Assisting in 100 to 150 teaching sessions per year
• Attending classes and monitoring academic discipline
• Correcting and grading answer sheets, quizzes, projects, and assignments
• Preparing course outlines, reading lists, handouts, slides, and teaching aids
• Supporting tutorial sessions and remedial classes
• Coordinating with academic offices
• Participating in exam and quiz invigilation
• Assisting faculty in research, case writing, teaching notes, and paper writing
• Using tools and software required for quality research
• Coordinating with R&P Office, Case Unit, and related departments

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have Ph.D., M.Phil., or first-class MA in Communication or related disciplines
such as English, Linguistics, Communication, Public Relations, Sociology, Anthropology, or Political Science.
Candidates with teaching, research, or industry experience will be preferred.

Essential: Excellent command over spoken and written English.

Desirable: Work experience in research or teaching in communication; experience in corporate
communication, public relations, and media.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this recruitment is 35 years.

Salary

The monthly consolidated salary is in the range of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000.
In addition, Rs. 8,000 will be provided as housing support.
Financial support for paper presentations and annual development is also available.

No other allowances will be paid except TA/DA for official tour.
